The plot of Phansi Ka Phanda

Phansi Ka Phanda, which means "The Noose" in English, is a film directed by Madhusudhan Kalekar and produced by Ramesh Sharma. It was released on June 22, 1990. The film follows the story of Vijay (Nana Patekar), a journalist who works for a newspaper called "The Truth". He exposes the corruption and crimes of a powerful politician named Rana (Mohan Ghoshal), who is involved in drug trafficking, smuggling, and murder. One day, Vijay receives a tip from an anonymous caller about Rana's illegal activities. He decides to investigate and finds out that Rana has hired a professional killer named Babu (Rajesh Puri) to eliminate his enemies. Vijay manages to take some photos of Babu killing a man named Shyam (Rajesh Vivek), who was Rana's former associate. He also witnesses Babu planting a bomb in Shyam's car.
